Our gites are situated in the small village of St.Pierre d'Amilly, in the Charente Maritime region - very close to the town of Mauze sur le Mignon and the beautiful Marais region, and 40 km east of La Rochelle (approx. 25 mins. drive).
The building is a traditional converted stone barn, which is over 300 years old, and used to be used for the wine pressing for the village.

Le Petit Flat is a completely self contained apartment, with its own front door. It's full of character and warmth - wood floors and ceiling, and unique, tiny stained glass windows.
The apartment has one double bedroom, a dining area and living room (with comfortable sofa-bed), and a shower and separate toilet. There is a TV, DVD and VHS players, with a large library of films.
The kitchen is well equipped, and towels and linen for the double bed are provided for guests. Please bring your own linen if you plan to use the sofabed as well. A washing machine is also provided.
Guests have use of their own garden area with garden furniture and BBQ.

La Maison is a charming gite with exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings.
Downstairs provides comfortable seating with two double sofas, a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, and dining area.
La Maison offers SkyTV and a DVD / CD player, with a growing library of films.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms; one with a double bed, and the other with two singles. Shower and toilet also on this floor - Linen and towels are provided for our guests.
La Maison has a lovely big ancient fire place (wood supplied at a small extra charge), and there is also central heating for the colder months.
As with Le Petit Flat, guests have use of their own garden area, with large garden furniture and BBQ.
